Questo sito è un tracker informativo neutro, non commerciale. Vogliamo essere trasparenti su che dati raccogliamo (spoiler: pochissimi) e quali terze parti sono coinvolte.
Cookie e tracking
Non usiamo cookie di tracking, né analytics di terze parti, né strumenti di profilazione. Non c'è bisogno di banner di consenso perché non c'è nulla da consentire.
Usiamo solo localStorage nel tuo browser per ricordare:
- la lingua scelta (IT o EN)
- se vuoi vedere o no le notifiche live (toggle 🔔)
Sono dati strict-necessary per le tue preferenze. Non li condividiamo con nessuno e non lasciano mai il tuo dispositivo. Puoi cancellarli da Impostazioni → Privacy → Cancella dati siti del browser in qualunque momento.
Terze parti che vedono il tuo IP
Quando carichi le pagine, il tuo browser fa richieste anche a queste terze parti (servono per la mappa e le librerie JavaScript). Loro vedono il tuo IP perché è intrinseco a qualunque richiesta HTTP.

Server log
Il server registra log standard delle richieste HTTP (IP, URL, timestamp, user agent) per finalità tecniche e di sicurezza (anti-abuso, debug). Sono conservati massimo 30 giorni e mai condivisi con terze parti né usati per profilazione.
Statistiche di traffico
Per capire quanto il sito è usato e distinguere bot da utenti reali, generiamo un report aggregato e anonimizzato dei log server (via GoAccess). Mostra solo dati aggregati (es. "X visite oggi", "Y bot", paesi). Nessun identificativo personale viene memorizzato.
Dati personali sui casi
Sul sito non sono pubblicati nominativi di persone affette dal focolaio. Per i decessi mostriamo solo il paese di residenza, mai nome o dettagli identificabili. Tutti i dati provengono da fonti pubbliche (WHO DON, ECDC, autorità sanitarie nazionali, media).
🤖 Trasparenza sull'uso di AI
Questo sito è in gran parte mantenuto da una pipeline autonoma di agenti AI (modelli Claude di Anthropic), non da una redazione umana. Ogni 6 ore vengono lette le news, estratti eventi strutturati, validati i casi anonimi e classificate le fonti automaticamente. Vedi how it works per il dettaglio dei singoli agenti, modelli usati e limiti dichiarati.
Nessun dato personale dei visitatori viene inviato ad Anthropic o ad altri provider AI: gli agenti operano solo sul testo degli articoli pubblici raccolti dai feed RSS. La tua interazione con il sito (scroll, click, ecc.) non viene mai processata da AI.

Cookies & tracking
We do not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics, or profiling tools. No consent banner is needed because there's nothing to consent to.
We only use localStorage in your browser to remember:
- your chosen language (IT or EN)
- whether you want live notifications shown (🔔 toggle)
These are strict-necessary preferences. They never leave your device. You can clear them from your browser's Settings → Privacy → Clear site data at any time.
Third parties that see your IP
When you load the pages, your browser also makes requests to these third parties (for map tiles and JavaScript libraries). They see your IP because it's intrinsic to any HTTP request.

Server logs
Standard HTTP request logs (IP, URL, timestamp, user agent) are kept for technical and security purposes (anti-abuse, debugging). Maximum retention 30 days, never shared with third parties, never used for profiling.
Traffic statistics
To understand site usage and distinguish bots from real users, we generate aggregated and anonymized reports from server logs (via GoAccess). Only aggregate data is shown (e.g. "X visits today", "Y bots", countries). No personally identifiable information is stored.
Personal data about cases
We do not publish names of persons affected by the outbreak. For deaths, only country of residence is shown — never names or identifying details. All data comes from public sources (WHO DON, ECDC, national health authorities, media).
🤖 AI usage transparency
This site is largely maintained by an autonomous pipeline of AI agents (Claude models from Anthropic), not by a human newsroom. Every 6 hours, news are read, structured events extracted, anonymous cases validated, and sources classified automatically. See how it works for per-agent details, models used, and stated limitations.
No visitor personal data is ever sent to Anthropic or other AI providers: the agents only operate on public article text collected from RSS feeds. Your interaction with the site (scroll, click, etc.) is never processed by AI.
